How to use the
Advanced Search

Start here to find documents, images and audio/visual files within the Living City Archive using our advanced search form.

Step 1: Enter a value and select the type of information you want to search for up to four values. Connect them with the Boolean AND, OR, and NOT statements.

Step 2: Enter the publication dates between which you want to constrain your search?

Step 3: Refine your search by selecting all or some of the document types.

Step 4: Refine your search by selecting all or some of the publications.

Step 5. Select how many search results you would like to view per page. You can also select text-only search results that will load faster.

Search: Hit the "Search" button to submit the query to the database. "Reset" will clear the search form.
